The University will allow employees to package up to 50% of their salary.  A number of employees, particularly those nearing retirement age use this facility to package additional superannuation.

Did you know you can salary package your train or bus fare?

By purchasing a SmartRider card (and using the Add Value facility) from the Bookshop, you can save between 22% and 50% on the normal purchase price.

Maximise your Super Contributions

The strategy of using the savings from salary packaging your compulsory super, to make additional post tax contributions (that will attract the Co Payment) can be effective for those who have a gross income (prior to any salary packaging) of roughly between $40,000 and $60,000 pa.  Detail
